The Mechatronics for Equipment Maintenance course is designed for those with some experience and who are seeking industrial technician and maintenance roles. This course consists of a series of online modules aligned to SACA certification that explore the field of advanced manufacturing. The course provides a comprehensive review of electrical, mechanical, motor control, and pneumatic content. After completing this course, you will be prepared with the fundamental knowledge and skills needed to maintain and troubleshoot equipment in a manufacturing setting. Learners who successfully complete the course will receive a certificate of completion and be prepared to apply for Maintenance Technician roles.
Professionals in the mechatronics field are responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing machinery and equipment in an industrial setting and can find jobs in high-tech manufacturing facilities, hospitals, hotels/resorts, utility companies, schools, and retail chains.Â
