This course provides a comprehensive introduction to the core principles and practical skills required in modern journalism. Students will learn how to identify newsworthy stories, conduct effective research, interview sources, verify information, and write clear, accurate, and engaging news articles.

Eligibility
Pre-Requisites:
- No prior journalism experience is required.
- Learners should possess basic English reading and writing skills.
- Access to a laptop or computer for writing assignments and online research is recommended.
- Learners must be able to attend field-based reporting activities when scheduled.
Recommended (but not required):
- Familiarity with digital communication tools (email, basic web browsing).
- Completion of an introductory communication or writing course is helpful but optional.
Additional Attendance Information
